If that wasn’t enough Spider-Man news, Insomniac has also announced that PlayStation 5 owners will finally be able to buy the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered version as a separate purchase on the PlayStation Store later this month. It’s been written by Christos Gage – who was one of the writers on the game, and illustrated by artist Ig Guara. The comic will be launched to mark Free Comic Book Day in the US on Saturday, May 6 (and will release worldwide via the Marvel Unlimited app ‘at a later date’) – and will catch-up on what Mary Jane, Peter Parker and Miles Morales have all been up to following the events of the Marvel’s Spider-Man game and its follow-up Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales.
Insomniac has announced a one-two punch of excellent Spider-Man news today, declaring that it’ll be releasing a special Spider-Man 2 prequel comic to fill in some of the story between the previous game and the upcoming sequel.
